Creating mind maps, good looking mind maps, should not be a difficult task. And thanks to the JetCodes-developed RecMind application, it isn’t. From RecMind’s user friendly interface you can access a nice set of tools, tools that will help you easily create a beautiful mind map. When you’re done, you can export your mind map as a PNG, PDF, or SVG.

RecMind is available for computers powered by Microsoft’s Windows operating system.
RecMind is also available for computers powered by Apple’s Mac OS X.

The mind map you’re working on is presented front and center on the application’s interface. Around it there are buttons for various features and functions, like zoom in/out, insert topic, change style, change background, and so on. I found it quite easy to navigate RecMind’s interface and I’m confident you will very quickly figure it out.

RecMind allows you to start with an empty mind map or select a template. No matter which option you choose, you will have tons of ways to customize your mind map: add parent, child, and sibling topics; select what type of geometrical shape is presented around each topic; pick the types of lines that link the topics; choose one of several layouts; add boundary; add icons; attach files; insert link; change the background style; and more.

When you’re done, you can save your work as a RecMind .RDX file.
When you’re done, you can also export your work as a PNG, PDF, or SVG file.

You can use RecMind for free for a trial period of 15 days. A prompt will show up when you launch RecMind and tell you that RecMind will expire in 15 days.

I’ve seen lots of tools for creating mind maps and I have to say, RecMind is one of my favorites. I quite like the ease of use and the fact that there are lots of elements to play with when creating a mind map.
